Kauska, Leferink win Fresno Challenge tourney

Kevin Kauska and Richard Leferink caught four walleyes for 11.86 pounds on Day 1 and hung on with a single 3.8-pound walleye on Day 2 for a 15.66-pound total to win the Montana Walleye Circuit's 2004 Fresno Walleye Challenge in the rain, wind and temperatures in the 40s on May 21-22.

Nando Marolt and Steve Bell took runnerup honors with 13.28 pounds, catching all five of their fish on Day 2. Bob Klein and Dan Wetzel took third place among the 51 teams entered in the event. For a complete results, go to Fresno results.
