Groseclose-McLean top team at Tiber tourney
Ron Gloseclose, of Great Falls, and Mike McLean, of Hingham, took the first day lead
and then caught the heaviest weight on the second day, too, to win the Walleyes Unlimited Tiber Tournament on June 24-25 at Tiber Reservoir.
Groseclose and McLean had 16.52 pounds on the first day and added 12.16 pounds the second for a 28.68-pound total. That
outdistanced second-place finishers Wally and Jake Tuck, of Great Falls, who had 17.3 pounds. In third place was the team of
Robert and Mathew Mills, of Great Falls, with 25.28 pounds.
Here are the top finishers in the Montana Circuit event:
1. Ron Gloseclose-Mike McLean, 28.68 pounds, $2,000;
2. Wally Tuck-Jake Tuck, 27.3 pounds, $1,000;
3. Robert Mills-Mathew Mills, 25.28 pounds, $750;
4. Brandt Hamernick-Brad Kjelsrud, 23.96 pounds, $500;
5. Glenn Briese-Lisa Briese, 22.02 pounds, $450;
6. Trent Mendenhall-Mark Loff, 21.16 pounds, $400;
7. Dale Hawks-Dan Wolfe, 20.38 pounds, $350;
8. Robert Hickey-Tyler Hickey, 20.35, $300;
9. Dan Chovanak-Rob Hazelwood, 19.19, $250;
10. Rodger Jacoby-Adam Jacoby, 19.1, $200.

Friday biggest walleye: Duane Newell-Caleb Dodson, 5.84 pounds, $100.
Saturday biggest walleye: Rod Siemens-Mike Borland, 3.66 pounds, $100.
