TeSorro, Sando win Canyon Ferry tourney
The Bozeman team of Zak TeSorro and Kyle Sando won the 2000 Canyon Ferry Walleye Festival on July 15-16 with a total weight of 27.86 pounds.
High winds and big waves on the first day of the tournament resulted in 113 of the 132 teams registering zeroes for the day.
TeSorro and Sando had 6.64 pounds the first day and had the heaviest second-day catch among tourney tams with 21.22 pounds. Their 27.86-pound total earned them $5,000.
Sando also landed a 7.12-pound walleye, the top fish of the tournament.
Money-winners in the tournament were:

2. Mike Coleman and Dan Spence, 17.86, $2,500.
3. Eric Beyer and Bob Beyer, 16.10, $1,500.

6. Roxanne Williams and Jody Cutler, 12.56, $900.
