SOUTH DAKOTA TEAM WINS TOUGH GUY TOURNEY
JORDAN -- The South Dakota team of Tom Gunderson and Dave Hudson caught just two walleyes -- but one of them was a 10.75-pounder -- to win the 2001 Tough Guy
Tourney held out of the Hell Creek Marina on Fort Peck Reservoir on April 28.
Gunderson and Hudson, of Piedmont, S.D., weighed a total of 13.5 pounds for the two fish to easily outdistance the field.
A total of 60 teams were entered. Only nine of those teams caught walleyes in the event as waters were still icy cold and fish were mostly inactive on Fort Peck.

2. Jim Trogden and Bill Reyborn, Miles City, 5.25, $500.
3. Ed Kreider and Calvin Thomas, Jordan, 5.0, $400.
4. Chad Boyland and Rick Kroger, Piedmont, S.D., 4.25, $300.
5. Robert Johnson, Bismarck, N.D., and Rick Mart, Jordan, 3.25, $200.
