Collin Murphy and Brian Getrick pulled off the closest finish in WRWA history by edging Jim Breedlove and John Fromel by .08 of a pound.

It was also the first time in the winners circle for these young men.

The Canton duo tossed gold plated fireball jigs tipped with crawlers to shallow gravel banks to catch their 5 fish limit.

Breedlove and Fromel hit their hog by trolling floating Rapalas on a shallow sand bar.
