2001 Montana Walleye Circuit Rock Creek Results

The Wolf Point team of Chuck Garfield and Carl Stennes captured the championship at the Montana Circuit's Rock Creek Tournament on June 9-10 on Fort Peck
Reservoir.

The winning weight was 39.86 pounds to outdistance the second place team of Mike Gibbs, of Glendive, and Jake Hatzenbiler, of Williston, by more than 10 pounds. 
Gibbs and Hatzenbiler weighed in 27.92 pounds.

Garfield and Stennes earned $3,600 for the victory. 

A total of 122 teams competed in the two-day event, which was sponsored by the Wolf Point Chapter of Walleyes Unlimited and hosted by Rock Creek Marina.

1)Carl Stennes-Chuck Garfield, Wolf Point, 39.86 pounds, $3600;
2) Mike Gibbs, Glendive-Jake Hatzenbiler, Williston, N.D., 27.92;
3) Robert Helmer-Dan McLachlan, Wolf Point, 25.29;
4) Ted Toavs-Talor Toavs, Wolf Point, 23.02;
5) Andy Anderson, Glasgow-Dean Johnson, Glendive, 20.92;
6) Joe Davis, Havre-Bill Davis, Big Sandy, 18.80; 
7) Michael Corey-Jerry Tade, Glasgow, 18.74;
8) Gene Pronto-Kevin Pronto, Wolf Point, 18.46; 
9) Alvin Hallatz-Wade Schmidt, Plentywood, 17.78; 
10) Randy Redfern-Bill Mitchell, Billings, 17.40.
