Mille Lacs MWC/NTC Day2 PM. MWC Final

Day 2 is done and the results of the day's fishing were impressive. The anglers did their best to provide an entertaining weigh in and that, it was.
 
There were some very impressive bags brought to the scales with a good number of big fish.The team of Doug Yohe and Charlie Brant brought in 11.41 pounds to move them from 56th place after day one to first place and claim the MWC title. They started the day in 89th place in the NTC and moved all the way to 7th. They, and 24 other teams will fish saturday to see who wins the Cabela's NTC.

In 2nd place in the MWC portion were Andrew Schultz and Andrew Fraley with a two day weight of 16.10 pounds.
3rd: Johnnie Candle and Dave Noble 15.89 pounds
4th: Stacy Forsberg and Enie Olson 15.30 pounds
5th: Dave Kolb and Jason Kopf 14.65 pounds

The team of Travis Sanger and Terry Zimmerman, 1st in the NTC after day one, weighed in 6.78 pounds and remained in first. Their two day total is 19.69 pounds. In second for the NTC are Jake and Gene Brueggermann with a two day weight of 19.09 pounds.
3rd: Frank and Andrew Mausser 18.24 pounds
4th: Steve Slabe and Lance Bosse 18.05 pounds
5th: Janice Dewaal and Theresa Meade 17.81 pounds

Saturday morning the top 25 teams in the NTC will take off at 7:00 to see who will be this year's winner. The weigh in will move from Izaty's to McQuoids and will begin at 4:00pm.

The anglers have had two outstanding days of weather and saturday looks to be the same. Mostly sunny, temps in the mid 70's and light winds from the west.
