Walleye Stocking: The CWWC has an active walleye stocking program on area lakes. More walleye are projected for stocking in October. The program is supported by our Sportsman’s Night fundraiser.

Fishing Divisions; Fishing Divisions are, Club Outings Adult, Club Outings Jr., Open Division (Walleye fishing anywhere in US or Canada) Jr. Open Division, and Ice Fishing Division.

Club Outings; Six Wednesday evening outings are scheduled along with six Thursday morning outings. Also scheduled is a Saturday morning outing in October. An Out of Area Outing on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday is also scheduled.

Sportsman’s Night Fundraiser; This event is held yearly the third Thursday in April. Dinner, door prizes, drinks are included. Special raffles also are held. This event is where money is raised for the CWWC Walleye Stocking Program and Fishing Pro-Mo’s.

Kids Fishing; The Central Wisconsin Walleye Club along with the Grand Rapids Lions Club holds this event yearly. It is a welcome sight to see kids having a blast catching fish from the pond on Lions Club property. After the fishing outing, there is a casting contest along with recognition in different age groups.

Annual Walleye Seminar; Yearly in the month of February, the CWWC holds its Annual Walleye Seminar. The speaker consists of someone who fishes one of the walleye pro tours.

Membership: Adult membership (16 yrs. and over) is $15.00 or a Husband and Wife membership is $25.00. Junior membership is free when sponsored by an adult. (Jr. 15 yrs. or under). Membership Director is Pat Lauby Phone # 715-424- 2023.

Meetings: Meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month at the Grand Rapids Lions facility at 7 PM. Fishing reports and fishing stories are being told here. Come down and enjoy the fishing experiences.
