I am just getting into float fishing. What is the best type of slip-bobber to use? I've heard about thill. Up until now i've just been using the red and white balls.

Thanks for any insight!.....Slam

I dont use bobbers for fishing eyes, but I do quite a bit of float fishing for steelhead. Hands down best bobbers ive used are made by Drennan. They are clear plastic with orange dome on top. Also a couple different ways to rig them, line going through or you can hook a snap swivel on the bottom and run your line through that. They are pricey though, I pay $8 canadian each.

I dont mind thill but they can sometimes be hard to see. i preffer the ones that are red on top and white on the bottom.
