Hi everyone,
I'm looking into this boat/motor combo. Does anyone run this, and if so, do you find that it is underpowered? What type of speed do you get?

I run a 1700 fisherman with a Yama 115F. As long as I'm below 5000' the 115F is great! Above 5000' elevation, I wish I gone with a 150!!! If you don't frequent high altitude lakes, the 115 will be a great match for that boat.

I run this combo, it is not the fastest boat on the water, but 90% of these boats have this setup. I have no problem with on plane performance and it scoots along at 42 to 45 with the right prop. So if you want to go 50 get a OPTI 135 or just a tad slower get a Johnson/Suzyki 140
