Am surprised to see that the Fish HAwk comes with a plug and not a over flow stand pipe in the live well. Can one be purchased or will one have to be made??

PVC pipe will work - Not schedule 40. If I remember right I have the thinner stuff used for sprinkler systems.

My Pike18 is the same way. I asked Lund why that was and they told me that the stand pipes take such a beating that they fail after awhile. But, if I recall correctly, they put pipes in the Pro-V series so, I don't know what to think.

I thought I would pass that info along, however.

I had a 2000 FishHawk 1750 and the livewell had a screened overflow hole in the starboard corner that had a hose that drained out the side of the boat. Do the new ones not have that feature? Mine also had a drain plug in it to drain it empty. The baitwell had a standpipe for overflow and you unscrewed it to drain that.

THANK YOU for the info walteye, I will check for the screen. I probably overlooked it in a moment of giddiness with the new boat.

1999 1750 Fish Hawk had bot the over flow, and side drain. I would think if you have a bottom drain you could easily obtain a stand pipe for overflow. If not, they look simple enough to make.

I have a 1999 1650 Fishhawk. It came with a a overflow pipe in the livewell.

I would think somebody would make an after market product. If anybody knows of one, please post where you can get one. It wouldn't hurt to have a spare.

Thanks,

Fritz
