I just purchased this electric anchor system. I do not have room on my Mr. Pike for the trolling motor and the anchor receiver. I am wondering if anyone out there has used pulleys (like those used in Anchormate systems) to mount the electric motor component on the floor of the boat. I believe that if I add a pulley I can have the rope enter the reel at the correct angle (90 degrees). But I would if such a set up with put too much pressure on the pulley?
