135 Opti & 9.9 Bigfoot

Just a report for those who are looking at new rigs and this motor combination. I had winterized the motors last year. I got out everything over the weekend. Turn of the key and the Opti fires right up and runs like a champ. Pumped the bulb on the 9.9 Bigfoot and it fires up and runs like a champ. Could not be happier with these motors. I put in Merc conditioner with the new tank of gas and both motors seemed to be operating even smoother than before. Can't wait to get out to do some fishing. Opener next weekend in Okoboji

SL Duck, that's great news as I am waiting to get my new Lund 1800 Fisherman with those exact two motors. What steering system do you use for the Bigfoot? THe boat will be ready for me May 7th. I can't wait.

I just have the stock handle on the 9.9 Bigfoot. I have an extension tiller for it. I have an Alumacraft 175 Tournament Sport. I have Wave Wackers and do some back trolling and just trying to keep position from the tiller and did not want a sterring system. This boat lends itself well to this application.
