Hey guys. Just wondering what kind of structure do you look for when fishing Eyes in October? Are they in the same areas as spring Eyes? Thanks for the info, as I usually don't fish that late in the season because of time, but have a trip planned for Saganaga in Oct.

Last fall we really got into the Eyes in October with 4 - 6 inch Redtails in 55 feet of water. Really nice fish but had to stop fishing as they would not survive coming up from the deep water. Hope to find them again this fall.
From Central Minnesota.

Hit these fish in the evening or at night and they will often be in 8 ft or less putting on the feedbag. We do very well pulling cranks on reefs, over remaining weedbeds, etc. You may find them in simulair areas. They are looking for baitfish. Don't be afraid to use very large baits 7" and up.
