I also suffer from no eagle trailer! My dealer is looking for a replacement. He is suggesting an EZ Loader model 18-3100. I have a new 18 foot Pro V IFS with a 175 OPTI waiting for a trailer. Is an EZ Loader comparable? The model he is looking at has adjustable bunks since EZ does not make a custom bunk trailer for my boat. Is this as good as custom fit? He said it would be easier to resell. I don't want to resell, I want the right trailer the first time. How does the trailmaster compare to eagle as far as price?

Trailmasters are less in price, not in quality. You may have carpet on the steps, instead of a shiny chrome plate, but you will not be lacking in quality. I have used my Lund on a Trailmaster for an average of a hundred times a year, in the last three years, with no problems. When I ordered the Lund, it came through with two bunks, I did not like the setup, and they bent over backwards to make me happy, by adding two more bunks, at no added expense.

thanks luredaddy for the info. I am waiting an additional few weeks for the eagle. Then I will look at a trailmaster. My dealer is trying to sell me a EZ loader. I have not heard any news on them I am a little skeptical.

Check out Prestige. It will be custom made for your boat (assuming the dealer tells prestige what your boat is, I know a guy on here that got the wrong trailer for this reason) and it will have 6 bunks. Start right off with tandem axles and brakes. They are well built trailers.

My trailer is a EZ Loader 18-3100
Would I buy another one - NO
Would I recommend one - NO
Wish I would have spent the $$ on a custom trailer and might just end up doing it soon anyway.

If you need to find an awesome trailer, look at Prestige. I sell them all and that trailer has it all. Manny

In comparison the Prestige was slightly less than the Eagle.

thankyou for the great info. I tried to call eagle today. The line is temporarily out of service!
Had an EZ Loader with my last boat. Would not buy any trailer with adjustable bunks, especially with a heavy boat. They'll loosen up and be a major hassle in the future. New boat has a Trailmaster trailer. Very nice, custom fitted bunks, like it a lot. Would highly recommend it.

I have a new E-Z loader trailer under my 1700 Pro Sport. Its galvanized, custom built with four bunks and disc brakes. I ordered it from my Lund dealer and I've been very happy with it so far.

What did you end up doing about your trailer? I'm curious because I'm waiting for the Eagle. I have a Crestliner at the dealer waiting. I didn't like the other trailers as well as the Eagle.
Thanks / Bfish

I don't understand. Is Eagle in some kind of financial trouble or are they still building trailers?

Yacht trailers bought out Eagle and they are now making trailers again. However, the distribution networks might be disrupted or reorganized but they are leaving the door.
