Just a quick note as I've been getting a lot of calls, we'll be able to take entries until Tuesday afternoon (Aug. 7).

Approximately how many teams are registered?
Thanks,
Steve

As of this morning there are a mere 34 teams. Thing is, when you exclude all the drop outs and transfers, we'd be at least at 50 or so.
the phone has been busy, though, and we could make that anyway.
Despite the low numbers, I am excited about this site. It is a great facility and the fish are expected to be bigger than any MWC site I'm aware of. There is a good chance to set a new MWC record. minimal travel distance according to the OH DNR, "No one should have to go more than 20 miles and 10 is more like it".
It sounds like a long ways away but probably 6 hours from Chicago and Interstate all the way from MN.
Certainly much closer for the OH, NY and PA anglers but there has been little interest from those states. Especially from Southtown (expecting that they are all New York anglers). Rather disappointing as Southtown (2000 - 3000 members) called a couple of years ago and wanted a tournament (It's less than two hours away).
But for all tournaments, the last week to two weeks akways gets crazy with calls, emails and entries so the numbers will get better.
BTW: a change in plans . . . TFM will be running the tournament dstails after all. things change and we're glad to have such a quality group helping.
Well, that's a long winded answer to the question. Nite all.
