OK, I'm not the most electrically minded person but here goes. I have a 24 volt maxxum on the bow and am getting ready to install the marinco plug. The dealer apparently slurped up the paper work and I have no idea what goes where.

This is a new lund so you owners can hoepfully help.

I took the cover off of the marinco plug and there are 3 places to connect the wires coming from the trolling motor, labeled 1,2, and 3. Which is + and which is -?

As a side note I see lund now uses a jumper to create 24 volts. So if I wires my batteries with the main + connection on battery A and the main negative connection on battery B, then use the jumper to connect the negative from battery a and the positive from battery B can I still use my on board charged pending the plug to the trolling motor is turned off?

Thanks, eyewall

As far as the info on your Marinco plug, its all on thier website.

Do you have a 2 or 4 wire setup? Sounds like you have 2 wires going to the plug, and the jumper is at the batteries. Is that correct?

Hi there. If your system is 24volt use 1 & 3 (1&2 for 12 volt).
Hook your charger to each battery separately will work fine.
