Tomorrow is the big day. Not sure if I'll be living in Gillette, Buffalo, or Sheridan yet, but I'm going. It's hard to imagine having places like Lake Oahe and Ft. Peck within reasonable driving distance. I'll need to get established before bringing the boat out, but it's coming. I'd appreciate hearing from people with Keyhole and Glendo experience. Do many people fish for walleyes there? Any motor restrictions? How about Big Horn Canyon/River?

Welcome Steve, if you're heading out here this weekend, be sure to stop and partake in Sturgis before heading to Wyo. This weekend starts the Harley rally. Major adult Halloween party!! BTW, Keyhole has been great, Glendo a little slower, but still fishable. Peck has been outstanding. I'm heading up there Labor Day if you want to tag along, let me know. I have buddies who live there so it's always a cheap trip.

IL's loss is WY's gain. Say - why not leave a boat in IL and get a new one for WY. WY not?!?

You are a lucky man!!! Probably no better place to live in the lower 48 if you like to fish and hunt. Don't forget Pathfinder and Seminole either.

What's hot at Glendo? I'm looking forward to the Western WC Get-Together there in a few weeks, and would appreciate any info you could offer on how it's fishing now.

Come down to Glendo on August 17 - 19. We have more boats than people at the Get Together.

There is a very good chance that I'll take you up on your offer. With so much to do, it's hard to commit, but I'd really enjoy the chance to jump in the boat with someone. All my gear will probably still be back in Illinois though.... at least I can do the netting, eh? :-) Thanks for the heads up!
Consider yourself a lucky man Steve. I miss doing business in WY. I think it's one of the most beautiful states in the US. If the outdoors is what you like, you'll love it. If your a city man at all, it may be a hard adjustment. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs and enjoy the diversity. But I'd be in WY in a second. Single...but in a second. (My Wisconsin farm girl wife never wants to be more than a METRA ride from Chicago). Glad you decided to take the boat when your ready. You'll wonder what the concern was about.
