Just wondering if there is a differant brand of oil filter one can use instead of the Yamaha filter. Part Number and brand.

These are numbers I have collected from other web sites.
I have personally only used the Mercury, the AC and the NAPA.

Does anyone know if these same filters will work on my Mercury 2003 4-stroke 115 h.p.?
The marine shop that I bought my last Merc filter from gets more than $10 for one.
(Edit) I suppose I could check the Merc filter on my motor against the Merc number given in the above post.

Yea, the Merc is the same as the Yamaha. I have a Merc F115.
