That's right, how'd you like to play golf with Scott Golden, or Ted Takasaki, or Keith Kavacjez, Perry Good, Scott or Marty Glorvigen or one of many other top fishing pro's? Well you can, this September 29th in Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin, and it's all to help raise money for the Juvenie Diabetes Research Foundation. We are having a combination golfing/fishing event on a beautiful course in Sturgeon Bay with big bass in the acres of water near the clubhouse. These top pro's are taking precious time from pre-fishing for the RCL Championship just to play in the event, THAT'S HUGE. Both the NPAA and Operation Walleye have been a great help in contacting the pro's and have asked for sponsorship information. I would like to personally like to thank a few people for making this dream event a reality. Dale Stroschein and Keith Kavacjez, for being willing to discuss the posability of even holding this kind of event. To Ted Takasaki, for taking the time to listen to me long enough to say yes, you gave me the confidence that others would follow. To Scott Golden, for taking the time to travel to Wisconsin, just to play golf, well and do a little fishing on the Bay. To Perry Good, and Scott and Marty Glorvigen, Bruce De Shano, Gary Gray and all the others who have offered their help, sponsorship or participation. To Charlie at the NPAA and Sonny Reynolds at Operation Walleye for the vast amounts of time of the phone midst a busy schedule and everything you are doing on our behalf. Thanks also to all the local people and businesses who have offered their help. The group of anglers at Winnebago Walleyes in my opinion are TOPS and Ron and I thank you!!
If you want to play, can be a sponsor, can offer some prizes or want information, email me at fishdoc@athenet.net
Thanks for listening.

I'm not a top pro or a very good golfer but I'll be there.
This is for a very good cause and it's going to be a blast!
Heaven have mercy on the other 3 suckers that get in my foursome, and take this advice very strongly.
ALWAYS stand behind me when I'm hitting the ball.

I haven't golfed in years, so I think they should put me on your team Scott, and keep us at the back of the field, so we don't have to keep letting folks "play through"..heheh
Heck, for charity I can be easily be humiliated, and it wouldn't bother me one bit..;-)
I do have to draw the line on wearing funky golf clothes though!
Thanks Doc for all the work your putting into this. It's going to be a fun event for all.

Although I'd probably pay to see Juls and Scott golf myself (LOL), I won't be in town for the Championship until Sunday night that week. I just wanted to put a call out to all those who might be in a position within their respective companies to support this effort full force. It's a great cause and Doc should be applauded in getting the event together.
It's a great opportunity for all of us to show the world how many good things can be associated with an event of this type, especially in light of all the news over the LaCrosse RCL cancellation. Just my .02!

Hope to see ya there Juls, it's gonna be lots of fun.
I'm kinda putting my luck in the bass fishing part of it. I figure that is my best chance.
I'm not that good at chasing the great white hope.

Scott, there's 4 people who will be so lucky as to play golf with you and we will be issuing hard hats to those in your group. Thanks for your help!
By the way Dale & Cindy Stroschein at Sand Bay Beach Resort are offering some VERY special lodging rates for those coming to the tournament for the weekend. It's the "host" lodging facility for "Skins & Fins" and where the organizing party is going to be staying. Emal me if you are interested.

Thanks for all the email and offers of support. Just figured out that I can Email the forms to most PC users instead of having to wait for the printer and putting a stamp on it. That way you can open the file, print out the form and send it back. It looks like this is going to be a very special event from what the initial response has been. Thanks for your support, please keep it coming.
