Eye-people:
After wasting waaaaaaayyyyyyy too much time getting my cranks un-stuck from my nylon net, I realized that there must be a better way. Is there such a thing as a rubber coated nylon net? I've got a great custom handle and hoop, so all I would need is a replacement net.
Please let me know if you've got any ideas.

Check out the beckman net. www.beckmannet.com The best net I have used. Very hook resistant and strongly built. You can't go wrong.

The Beckman net has a rubber coated net that works great! I think many on this site would agree that it is the best or one of the best nets made for walleye fishing. I have one that is 4 years old that is like brand new and believe me, it has been used hard!

Hello eyepopper, I will send you the info you are looking for.;-)
Try the LOKI Tangle less nets if you can find one. I think better than Beckman.

My two cents...Loki's bag is (way)superior to Beckman's. Beckman's handle is (way) better than Loki's. Somebody combine the two and you would have the best walleye net ever made. I use the Loki because their net bag is so excellent.

I have to agree about the loki's. I just ordered one from dakoramart for $30. So for that price you can get 3 loki's for the price of one beckman. I would go with the loki.

Beckman. Just got one this summer. A Walleye Special. Awesome! Gotta get a Muskie net now.

Meant dakotamart. Sorry!
Another vote for the Loki. Best coated bag I've used (including Beckman), smaller mesh = less tangles and it has a larger hoop than most "walleye" nets. Had mine for 7 seasons and it sits out in the sun most of the time - looks almost like new. The Beckman may have a little stronger hoop and handle (I use their muskie nets), although I've netted several 20 lb+ muskies in the Loki and never had a problem. Loki's are hard to find but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.
