Does anyone have any info about these fish finder/GPS combo units. I have a small boat and one of these units would fit perfect. However I see on the unit info that they only have 800 peak to peak power output. Is that enough??? I see other units that have 1500-2400 peak to peak. Any help would be appreciated... Tony

I have Lowrance M68c and love it.I had the color x-67c the previous season and was equally impressed. Most people do not use there GPS to it's full potential,me included,so the m68 is more than enough for me.As far as power goes,it will mark bottom in 80ft deep at 30mph on my boat and marks fish just fine in 30ft of water where I do most of my fishhing. This makes a nice compact simple unit.I have had boats with 3 fishfinders and 2 gps units, simple is good!

I usually fish Pymatuning lake until summer then head to Erie when the weather/waves permit me too. Will it mark the walleye on the bottom in 80fow and the perch schools? I am upgrading from a really cheap humminbird wide 100 which is just totally junk.I just want to get the right fish finder/GPS on the first try. Thanks for the info.... Any other advice would be appreciated....

I have the X67C and love it. I have used it in 60-70 ft and yes it does pick up schools of bait fish and marks fish well at that depth also. Normally I fish in less than 20' of water, and it marks fish tight to the bottom also. Very nice unit in my opinion.

I still need some input before I buy one of these units. I read a thread on the Walleye discussion page about the sister unit of these (x67) had lots of problems. Also can anyone tell me if 800 watts peak to peak is enough to see bottom structure and bait fish in 70-85fow thanks again./..
