Looked through my dad's old tacklebox the other day and found one of these. Tried it out and caught a 15 sm. bass and two walleye in a little over an hour.
Has anyone ever heard or used these things? I'd like to get a bunch of them, but no one (Cabelas, Gander Mountain, BassPro) seems to have any info.

What did the lure look like. A lot of lures of old were really good and for some reason just didn't make it toour time. Some had names but not on the lure itself.
I only fish on days that end in y.

If I remember, they were a small piece of lead with chrome plating, with very light Marabou tied in. They were great crappie baits, and I think they would work on finicky fish today! Please let me know if that is what you have.

LureDaddy,
You basically have describe what I have, except no chrome plating. I don't know for sure but they seem to weigh about an 1/8 oz.
Any ideas on an easy weigh to find out if they are still made. Fantastic lure!

I really donot think they are still made, I find them once in a while in tackle boxes, I collect old lures and they turn up. If you want, I can contact you if I turn any up, let me know how to get in touch.

Luredaddy.
Did a search on the Internet and after going through about 200 messages found athread for a post from 1999 to a fishing site which gives some info to a bait shop in CA (Watsonville ?) which supposedly had them at the time. Will call them tomorrow. Let me know if your interested in the info as well.
