All I can say is that, those who showed up, had a good time. Sluggo, Gilligan, Ranger and myself were the only WC folks there. Gilligan's son won the mini derby with an almost 9# fish. Fred (Gilligan) had an amost identical fish and they caught one other in the boat. My girlfriend and I fished with Sluggo and his partner. We managed 2 fish around 5# each. It was a toufgh day as two pros I talked to only had 1 fish between them. The lake was flat all day which I'm sure didn't help. We had alot of good food afterwards and of course, a couple of beverages. I hope we can do this again next year, but have a much larger turnout. It was great to finaally meet a couple of people I've "talked" to for the last year or so.

Ditto! What Pete said.

My brother-in-law, Mike, and I enjoyed ourselves and the company. It was nice to put faces to handles and names. Thanks to everyone, SLUGGO and Gilligan, that put this together. I think it is a good place for a start for next year. I'd like to see it grow, too.

Pete's lady friend makes one heck of a pasta/antipasto salad! I way over ate on that!

Thanks to Keith Segar and Jeff Russel for sharing their Walleye knowledge and insider info. Good discussion guys!

Pete, if you thought Saturday was hot and flat - It paled to Sunday! Sunday was even worse and we skunked on Walleye and we weren't the only ones, channel 68 verified that over and over again. "They" were all over the finder suspended between 40 and 60 feet over 90-110! We had it all hanging out - nadda! After a couple of hours Mike asked if I brought the C-4! :D

The get together was real informational for my partner Paul and I . It was nice to put faces to the people who we have been chatting with here on W/C.
The fishing was slow but I would be ready to go back up in a flash, The pros that attended sure were helpful with the info .
we spent several hours over a few beers and talking fishing and learning the little things that make big differences.
Hope this leads to another get together next year if not sooner.

Good Fishing
JIM

Hey all.. sorry that myself and Sluggo aren't the well organized ones. Had a great time meeting everyone but wish we could have put it together better for all of you. There is always next year and Stack WILL NOT be the official weigher. My fish was 29" and he tells me that it weighs less than one 26"??? And I thought it was Bobber with the bad eye sight!

Fred..Quit your whining! At least your son walked off with the money! I could have let Kris's 5 #er win it! Sluggo (Chris)

Hey buddy..just trying to keep the old heart pumping for ya! If I REALLY wanted to win it I wouldn't have thrown back the 10#er I caught jigging the breakwall. Get healthy we got lots of fish to chase!
