Wondering what the pros and cons are for the ducer which comes with the x-15---A buddy of mine just got one and it comes with a 200khz ducer others come with dual freq.---Would you replace with the dual or just keep the 200????? Thanks! Ray
It depends on the fishing you do. It sounds like walleye fish, and probably in shollow waters, 40' or less. I would recommend the 20 degree transducer.

For what it's worth, I have the dual freq transducer and I am getting rid of it. Less problems with single freq 192.

What kind of problems did you have with a duel freq? I was having problems with my X-15 and I switched to a 200 21 degree and it seems to work better.

A friend of mine bought the unit--(I've got the Zercom LPG2000 and love it)--He wanted to get the dual ducer but I told him if he wasn't going to fish in the deeper water, He didn't need it----I just wanted to make sure by posting here with some other fishing minds---and I thank you for the resposes-----Ray
