Is there a good way to test a live well pump with the boat being out of the water?

The real answer is no. But how about trying this. Park on hilly street with your boat facing down. Get a funnel with a flexible end and put it in the intake. Have another person with a water hose start putting water in the funnel and try it that way!
Maybe it would be easier just to drive it to the lake!
