Just brought my new boat home last Fri. - all I can say for now is WOW! Anyhow, I want to put a Lowrance 104 on it, but I'm questioning if there is really room on the console. It's a dual console without the full windshield. Has anybody saw a 104 on a unit like this? Looks like it would be tight. Not sure if would want a big unit like that on a RAM mount - would be afraid of "wiggle" and vibration without a permanent mount. Don't want to cause future electronics problems. Thanks for any help

Like you, I don't have much room on the console "Stratos", I went with the RAM and x-15. This was just about my only option, I used a backing plate on the underside of the console and she's solid! It's seen some pretty rough runs and hasn't budged.
GOOD LUCK

Birddog, I'm wondering what model # you have in the Stratos. I'm looking for a boat and Stratos doesn't seem to have many boats out there. Any help and comments on your boat appreciated. Thanks.

I sorta answered this ? on Gary Grays thread as Spooner. One thing I would add is that I was going to put an Aluminnum plate as backing for the RAM but found that Triton already had aluminum in there. I used threaded machine screws to mount the RAM mount also. My boat has the full windshield but it should work the same way on yours.
1 more suggestion. It is hard pulling wires on this boat. I would buy an extension transducer cable and run it to the dash and then if you want to run another transducer for some reson you won't have to run it all the way to the console again. I also used velcro to mount the GPS puck on the dash. That way when I travel I can use it for mapping in my truck with the map create software, with the puck on the dash.
You're gonna love this boat!
