It doesn't work. It worked earlier, and now it won't display the page. Waz up wit dat??? I gotta know the results! HELP!

The Windows 2000 server blew up the motherboard a few hours before the weigh in. It's one of those days.
I've had the sys admin pull the hard drive from that machine and install it on the SQL server we have there.
We have redirected the IP address and now we are in the process of changing all the code to match the new server.
It's not been a very good morning here at Walleye Central land.
Back to work now.

I have no idea what you just said, but it sure sounds like a bummer :-( Thanks for all the hard work Scott, there isn't a better site out there in my opinion.

Some days just seem to go like that, my man!
Just take the rest of the afternoon off and practice up on the golf game :)

OK, it's up and running again.
I don't have any frigging fingertips left, but it's running.
Wish I'd taken the advice and practiced my golf game.... would have been much more fun
Sorry for the delay folks, motherboards usually last forever but when they go they are like lightbulbs..... they just go.

I can completely relate to your problem. Every once in a while we have a server just freak out and then it's hustle time. It always seem to be when it's most needed too. So your post made perfect sense to me. Thanks for the hard work!!!

Translation:
Scott said that he blew the powerhead in his outboard, so he took his tackle and rods and put them in his other boat which is on another lake. Now he just needs to change the lures and he'll be fishing again. BTW, with computers, you have to reconfigure your rods to match the boat they're in.

You won't wish that you practiced your golf game until September 29th, and then it might not be as fun as you think. Better practice your golf vocabulary too. Words like putt, beer, cart and all the other four letter words associated with the game.
