I have a Lowrance 100c and LCX18c sonar units. I have one mounted on the console and one mounted in the rear, to use with the kicker. Both transducers are mounted on the port side. If I mount one console transducer on the starboard side and one transducer on the port side, will this eliminate the interference when both are running at the same time??
Thank You,
Joe

It all depends on the transducer frequency. If the transducer frequency for these two units are the same then each depth finder will pick up the other transducer frequency where the cone angle intersects with the other. I had a lowrance LMS350 with the transducer mounted on the transom of the boat and a Bottomline 310 with the transducer mounted on the bowmount trolling motor. These units worked fine until I got in 30 feet of water then I would get interference on both screens because thats where the cone angles intersected with one another. With both transducers mounted close together on the transom and if they are of the same frequency you will have interference in even the shalowest of waters.

No. You will still have interference, plus the kicker will "wash out" the signal for the one on that side, when you put the kicker in reverse.
