Has anybody heard whats up at Hoots?
The talk around town is that the bank has steped in
and taken over.We tried calling them bit the calls went un-answered.
Looks like we're out entrie fees for the tournement.hopefully no-one gets burned on outstanding boat deals or rigs laid up in their shop.

There was something posted on fishingmn.com in the Ottertail forum on this as well. Sounds like the doors closed Friday??

Was that in Ottertail or in Rosemount? That's where I just bought my boat, glad I was able to sell my old rig otherwise Hoot's would have stored the new rig over winter.

That is a bummer:(
I really liked having a good dealer in Rosemount and I was so happy to see the 2 dealers before them move on.
I hope it is just a restructure and they will stay in business.

Definitely the one in Ottertail, and I'd assume Rosemount as well but the posts I've seen didn't specify.

From an Otter Tail local...
It's both operations. The statment on the answering machine is they
are'temporarly closed for negotiations'. Speculation is that it is a bank issue. Inventory has been seen going down the road.

Went by Hoots (OTC)last Sat 14th sign in the window gave a phone number to call if you have questions. Do not have it but will be up to the lake this weekend will post the number on Monday for those that would like it. Hope things change I found the parts guy (Mark) very helpful and good to work with, went that extra mile to help.
