I purchased a 2005 1900 Pro-V last month. I received the Rapala goodies and was wondering if anything else would be arriving?? Has anyone else purchased a Lund and what they might have received from this promotion?

Thanks!

The "Catch of the Year" promotion, now in progress has two levels. Since you bought a Pro-V, (that qualifies for the "Ultimate Package") you would have your choice between the Lund/Rapala tackle kit w/ two rod & reel combos- or- a Lund Cockpit cover.
Sounds like you picked the Rapala package.
I have not seen the new Rapala package.
How do you like it?

I think the package is great!! Although I don't think amounts to $800.00 - $1,000.00

Just thought I saw on a earlier post someone said they got a $100.00 certificate for Lund clothing in addition to the tackle package.

I received my Rapala package also. Lots of goodies in there. I did not expect to get anything, and then these packages show up on my porch one day. Christmas in August!!!!

If he did get that, he didn't get it as part of the any sales promotion Lund has ever had. Maybe the dealership did it?
But.... he certainly will be easily recognizable :)

$1000.00 in Lund Clothes is a lot! My wife won that at the Lund dealer meeting two years ago and we got stuff for our whole crew at the dealership.

T-Mac, he said $100 not $1000.. I'd agree $1k would buy a lot of clothes, does Lund have signature skivies????????

Thanks

Smitty... they do. They are called "Lunderwear".
No joke! It is true.
They had them for sale at the Dealer meeting last fall.

What year was the boat? If it was an '03 it probably woulndn't qualify, only an '04.

That would have been a different promotion. That was "Spring Catch".

I can't remember what exactly you would have received with an Explorer on that promotion, or if Exporers were included-- But if your dealer was participating, and Explorer was included, you should have gotten your free stuff long ago. You might check with your dealer?

There were two different levels for that promotion. Explorers were included in the smaller/lesser promotion. Basically it included a Plano tackle box loaded with about 50 various Rapala lures, a video, a trolling depth chart book, some pretty cool tools including a "boga grip" style scale, plus a $50 gift certificate for Lund wear. Very nice promotion. The dealer has to fill out the form and mail it into Lund, after the boat was delivered. I think you need to check with your dealer. It only took me about 2 weeks after delivery to get the package. But then again...Henry's Marine in Chicago is a great dealer!

JimH,did the certificate for Lund come with the tackle package? I received the tackle but no certificate was with it.

As I recall, it did come direct from Lund. A clothing catalog comes with the certificate,

I purchased a 2004 Pro-V and was supposed to get the Major lure package and a $100.00 clothing cerificate. After waiting about 3 mo. and talking to the dealer a few times they told me they were selling so many boats they couldn't keep up with the promotions. The new promotion was a 5 year warranty in place of the lures. I told the dealer they could keep the lures (I already have plenty)if they would give me the 5 year warranty. I had the warranty in writing within a week but it took about 2 more calls to the dealer before I got the $100.00 clothing certificate.

I recently purchased a 2004, 1775 Pro-Vee and received the promotion 3 weeks later. It included 2 rod and reels, large double deck soft sided tackle box filled with Shad Raps and other Rapala lures, tools, digital scale, fillet knives, an Al Linder DVD, a 20 lb. Lock 'n Weigh scale, and other small fishing items. Also a 12/110 volt electric fillet knife and case. Other than 2 Lund caps there was no Lund clothing or certificate included.
It didn't make a differnce in purchasing the boat or not but it was a nice package to have dropped off at your door.

From what I understand, the spring catch promotion did not come with a Lund clothing certificate.
