So what is the consensus on the TailDancer? I have four new ones and am wondering if they are going to produce or not. Flying into Canada for walleye and if they are not producing, I will use the space for tots. I know they rock!
Thanks!!

I had two weeks on Winnebage the the blue/white were great, but the other colors were marginal to lousy. After that period, I couldn't get any of them to go.. go figure.

I have had most luck with the Rainbow # 7 and golden shad #5.

I just starting using them about a week ago, went out last evening in the Toledo shipping channel and picked up 4 nice eyes in about an hour. All were caught on the blue and white, larger size, tail dancer. Had two lines out, tried all the other colors with no luck. Went to Dicks today to get another blue, no luck, so I picked up a color I hadn't seen before, a bright green and white,(not the dull Bass green), I hope to try it out this weekend.
Their kind of pricey, (Dicks gets $7.49) but if they work I guess their worth it!
MY WIFE SAYS I'M THE FISH, FOR SPENDING THAT KIND OF MONEY WHEN WHAT THEY REALLY LIKE IS WORMS!
She's probably right!

My verdict is= They suck!!!! I have fished some real productive water where you could not keep off the eyes, so I decided to put all 500$ worth to the test. The results were the same as the risto rap. Wally divers out produced 10-1. It is not that I dont know how to troll, I have won a lot of money on cranks. I devoted a lot of time on the water this year (my wife says too much) and have gave them a fair chance, they sure look good but they have dissapointed me>

As for Taildancers, they're collector's editions--not for fishing with, just for looking at!

I have been having good luck with them on Winnebago all year. During the Otter Street the large perch color put a 24,21, 20 and a 19 in the boat, an we cashed a check. Good enough for me. Blue/white and perch were good all year.
They will be in the bargain bins with the Risto Raps soon. I'm going to hang all of mine on the Christmas tree that's all they good for.
I have been pulling half tail dancers and half thundersticks all
year on Winnebago and they perform equal for me. Blue & white
are best for both brands, followed by natural colors.
