can a reg finder be used as a "sidefinder" by mounting a transducer on one of those clip on side rail mounts for portable unit,..mounting it sideways and revolving it,...would it look out side ways?,..(I realize that the cone would be at the water surface not too far out) Or possibly be angled down a bit,...could this be used to find baitfish etc?
