Garmin GPS's etrex or 12 series?

Hello all, Im looking into getting a GPS soon, I was wondering what one do you think would be the better unit for fishing? the Garmin 12 map or the Garmin Extrex Vista? They both look like excellent units to me.

I personally would go with the 12map hands down. The etrex series are not very easy to run, astetically(sp). The little mouse button is hard to run when sitting still, I can't imagine trying to use it in a boat or vehicle. IMHO Good luck!!
