Terrific USED vehicle warranty.

Just wanted to pass along some info on warranty I bought for my '94 Aerostar van about a 1 1/2 years ago from a company called Warranty Direct (www.warrantydirect.com)I recently had to have it serviced. It was leaking tranny fluid badly and had been spark pinging horribly when going up hill. To make a long story short, I was skeptical as to how the warranty company would handle the claims and fully prepared myself for a bunch of BS and fighting over aftermarket & refurbished parts, etc. To my surprise (and the shops too) there was absolutely no hassle with the repairs at all. They didn't try to widdle their price down or insist on bogus parts or quick fixes. I got a brand new rear transfer case & brand new mass air flow sensor and housing. The shops I delt with were totally shocked and were nothing like other companies they had made claims with in the past. There are mileage limitations on how old a vehicle you can warranty, 45,000 miles I think? Mine is good to 81,000 and was around $950 for 3 years/39,000 miles for an AWD van. 4x4 & AWD is a little more than 2WD. The repairs I just had done were nearly $1300, so for me it paid off and I still have another 18k miles left. You can get the warranty on cars you already own (doesn't have to be a new purchase.) They have a boat warranty too, but I don't have it on mine so I can't vouch for it. Anyway, it's hard as **** to find good customer service these days and just wanted to post something positive about a company that seems to be trying!!
