Im going to erie next weekend out of huron. How far do I have to go to catch some eyes? by what lines? how deep? and on what? thanks in advanced for the info. bringing a first time erie fisherman and want to get on fish right away. thanks.

from the reports on huron on this board, if you can wait till the 2nd and 3rd week in sept, your luck improves according to the posts the last 2 yrs. Cleveland and Erie has the big schools and the smelt are real thick out at NY.If time is a factor go. But if you can wait, do it.
