AB blood needed for fishing buddy

My fishing friend of many years was recently diagnosed with a tumor in his head. He is scheduled for an 8 hour operation at the U of Minn hospital this week. However, because he has type AB blood, the hospitals are in need of donations.

If there are any individuals in the twin cities that would be willing to donate blood to help replinish the blood bank for this needed operation, please send me an E-mail for particulars.
I will give you the phone number to call to make your donations available and specific.

Hey buddy,seems like many times our hands are tied.Maybe not.Ihave AB negative.When i went to donate blood, afew years ago they insulted me by saying that"i could only donate to ABneg and could recieve (any) blood type" Sounds screwy but maybe a lead for your friend. Sorry to hear of your buddies health. I donate blood to the red cross I have ABpos blood, my Red Cross ID is 251835 Phone 1-800-426-2164. I don't know what options are available but you can e-mail me if you need any more info I'd be happy to help.
