Do a lot of fishing with jigs, cranks and worm harness rigs.

However, never really have tried the slip bobber setup and I do not know much about it other that what it is.

Any suggestions or articles for reference to take it on the water?

Hi
Try going to the Lindy website at
http://www.lindylittlejoe.com
On the right side there is a column that says "interaction", click on "fishing tips" beneath that heading. Once on the fishing tips page, scroll down and you will see a section on Lindy slip bobber fishing tips......
Good luck

Slip bobber fishing allows you to cast your bait into deeper water and allow the jig and bait to slip through the bobber to the bottom where a well placed knot stops the slidding action when it rests against the top of the bobber. Once you figure the depth of the water you can adjust the jig up ond down by slidding the bobber stopper knot. By watching your bobber can detect a "Lift" bite by the bobber laying on its side when the line is given some slack. Also wave action lifting and lowering the bobber automaticly jigs your bait for you. I enjoy putting a leech out on a 3/32 oz jig which balances with the bobbers I use. Lighted bobbers like the thill and blue fox make fishing after dark a neat experience. :D ><)))"> ><> ><> ><>
