Will be fishing out of Wild Wings Marina just west of nuclear plant Thursday, May 4 thru Sunday, May 7. Would appreciate any info on how the bite is going. Thanks in advance.

Bobber Lobber,
Tough bite this weekend for both drifters and trollers, but watch the "Fishing Reports" page throughout the week and you will get the latest and greatest before the trip. Some drifters did OK to the west by Toledo Lighthouse (about 15-16 mile run from wings channel). We trolled Sat and Sun West of West Reef. Massive school of fish but VERY Slow. Got 5 on Saturday- Reef Runners behind big boards 125' to 150' back. Gold Clown and Fried Chicken. Sunday got 4 - Reef Runners 125 to 180 back - Gold Clown and Chrome and Blue. One Fish on Dipsey with Clown Husky Jerk.
When these fish turn on it will be something special. You may luck out later this week and hit it perfect!
Depending on the size of your boat, you may want to launch at Turtle Creek Campground or Fenwicks. Their ramps are better.

I second the ramps at Turtle and Fenwich, and the
tough bite this weekend. Fished the Toledo Light area Saturday and it was tough. Couple of charters found them early Sat. and did fair, but I was not one of them ;-(

Brion,
I'll have to get an antenna like yours. Wow! Driveway was probably not a bad place to be Sunday. Fished hard for only 4 eyes. If we get a couple days of S/W wind it's going to be pretty awesome out there. I'm hoping to get out Thursday late afternoon. Email me if you are interested in going.
