A friend and I are heading up to Big Stone for the weekend, I was wondering how the opener was. We have never fished this lake before. So any info would be very helpful.

was to bigstone and the green slime really hampered fishing. Could not work a jig 2 feet before it was a big glob of slime. Hopefully the lake will settle by the time you go. went to traverse and had no slime but tougher fishing. Bigstone bite was good if you can put up with the slime

Traverse was a dud.
