Question for you OMC gurus/dealers:
I have a 1992 Evinrude 70 hp 3 cyl.
I have been told by several people that there is a service bulletin out for the cooling system on that motor, but have been to several OMC dealers who have known nothing about the TSB or been able to find it in their TSB's. I looked thru one dealer's book of TSB's and was unable to find it. You also canot call BRP about motors older than 95. So I am looking for answers here.
I already have the new water pump/thermostat, but there supposedly is a new location on the power head for the tell tale (pee-hole) output fitting that you are supposed to drill/tap. Does anyone know where the new location is? and how you are supposed to install it? also how are you supposed to fill in the old hole.

Thanks in advance

The bulletin is #2276 (revision 1), dated April 1994. It specifies the location to drill as well as a part number to plug the old hole.
