help with Magellan 315 GPS

I bought a Magellan 315 GPS for hunting out west, but would like to use it on Erie as well. I am not sure how to enter numbers though. I was told that maybe you couldn't enter numbers with this type. I have read the instruction manuel but still cant figue it out. I want to be able to have someone give me a set of numbers and enter them and find their location. Will this model do that. I know these are probably dumb questions, but I cant figue this thing out.

I have a 315 also, I have been wondering the same thing. Tonight I think I've figured it out. It gives the instructions on pages 24 and 25 in the manual. You create a waypoint where you are and then use the edit feature to create the one you want to input. GPS is new to me too, I can't wait to try it out opening week-end. Hope someone with more experience will post more info.
