I know it is short notice,
but any USFA teams from South Dakota, Minnesota, North Dakota, or any other USFA division is more than welcome to fish our 2 day final SD tournament at Lake Thompson this Saturday and Sunday (September 8th and 9th). Our final tournament is a two day double point tournament, not a State Championship Tournament. Thirty teams from SD will be invited to our (WWA)National Championship on the St. Croix River at the end of September. As of now about 15 teams have locked their position. There are a number of teams who only fished one or two tournaments and most likely won't fish the final two day, which you must to qualify for the Nationals. New teams that come in for this tournament stand a good chance of earning enough points to go to our National Championship, where all the prizes are cash (check). With 80 boats at the National Tournament First Place will be around $10,000. If you are interested, call me at (605) 622-7151, or (605) 626-2314 Ext. 434 tommorrow from 8 to 2pm. Or you can show up at the Lake Preston Supper Club in Lake Preston, SD tommorrow night to register, or come to the State Park Ramp at Lake Thompson (4 miles from Lake Preston) by 7:30 am on Saturday. I'd be glad to have you join us and get in on the fun. You can also e-mail me at walleyemike@nvc.net (home) or mikemccafferty@state.sd.us tommorrow between 8 am and 2 pm. Come join us if you can.
