Just wondering if anyone has tried the new Minn Kota Genensis and what they thought of it. It looks pretty nice but is it worth the price? Also wishing that it had more thrust options, like up to maybe 100 pounds. thanks in advance.. k
Was on a fellows boat down on Okichobee just a couple months ago and he had one. Boy was that a slick unit! He's on the water 200 + days a year, and with a nagging back he said I'd have to kill him for it. Personally...I'm usually so wound up when I'm out that I don't notice the work. However, I'm not out 200 days a year either. If I was, I think the investment would be worth it. Then again, if I could afford to spend that much time on the water, money probably wouldn't be a concern anyway. PS: His 76 lb thrust model pushed that 21 ft. boat around like a small outboard. More than enough power.
