where is green island located if i may ask? i live in the northern nebraska and dont get to fish the waters of green bay that often. Is there a website that shares the information of where it is? i usually launch at the down town launch in sturgeon bay, aprox. how long would th ride take do you think? i was in town visiting relatives and saw the rcl and checked it out. it was pretty cool. the first time ive ever seen one! well if yo ucoudl please post messages to my question i woudl appreciate it!

It is strait east of the mouth of the menominee river about 10 miles

Sorry I only read the first sentance of your question. There aren't too many good websites about green bay fishing but the best advice I can give you is to head up to sister bay in mid august and fish the horeshoe reefs and the other reefs/islands up there and you will have a blast. Good luck!

Green Island is only 31/2 miles out from the mouth of the river. Try hotjigs.com for updates in the area. JJB

Chambers island is about 10 miles out, and slightly to the northeast.
