This spring I paid $2950 for one with remote steering, rigged and ready to go from the dealer. However from what I hear these are hard to come by this year so don't expect any bargins without luck and research.

paid $2500.00 in march for one, rigged, without the remote steering and already had to wait till June 5th for it. Both the tiller and remote models are on major backorder right now but they really run nice and i'm glad i got it.

$2495.00 that is for the tiller. You can get them cheaper at boat net but you have to pay the shipping around $150.00 to $200.00.

If I remember right the shipping from Florida to Wisconsin was less than $100 (last summer). Naturally, the shipping charges are a function of where you live.

I just purchased a new 2006 T-8 long shaft with electric start and tilt for $1900 plus tax. The dealer here in Michigan wanted it off the showroom floor. Had to drive 5 hrs round trip, but well worth it. I found several 2005 and 2006 T-8's all under $2400 when I did a web search. I was told the 2007's will be closer to $3000.

fishman, did they have any more at that price? I'm dropping my boat there for repairs Friday and would love to get a T8 at that price.

Jack,
No kidding, I found it on the web and had to drive up to Roscommon to get it. They had it on the floor for a year, and wanted to sell it. A dealer here in Grand Rapids has the same exact one for $2200, which still isn't a bad buy.
I lucked out. Now I can't wait for spring to get here though!

Jack,
Hope I didn't mislead you.....It doesn't have remote steering. It's the tiller model with power trim and tilt...FYI
