I am looking for some good books/articles/video's on how to use a fish finder. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Jim,
After you figure out how it works, rent an underwater camera for a day or two and take it to a couple of different lakes. You can then look at the camera and your finder at the same time to really "see" what the finder is showing you.
It worked for me and now I feel confident knowing what it is the fish finder is displaying...hard bottom, soft bottom, what kind of weed structure and rocks.
