I have enjoyed how everyone has been keeping up with my hockey and fishing stuff. The past month or so has been a roller coaster, but that is the nature of professional sports. I wanted to take this time to say thanks for all the nice comments and emails I have been getting the past month or so. I also want to take this time to apoligize for not being on the chats and message boards like I usualy am. It just has been way to hectic for me. I think things are going to quiet down a bit, and I look forward to reading and replying to whatever pops up on walleye central. Thanks again! Good fishing and don't forget to shoot the puck. Mike you can make a lot more money playing hockey than you can tournament fishing, so hockey your heart out now and we'll wait for you to retire with a fat bank account before we give you a hard time about not fishing enough. Shoot the puck, buddy we're all rooting for ya!!!

Mike --
No apologies necessary whatsoever. I admire you for what you're trying to accomplish and hope that you do dedicate yourself totally to hockey right now. Believe me, the fish will wait. It's that hockey puck that needs your attention right now. Best of luck. -- mark

Mike:

Ditto the previous comment. I'm sure glad you are there and I am here!!!! Not really. Had battle creek all to ourselves today and did well south of Bismarck. Man them walleye are much healthier than they have been the past two to three years. Some are looking like footballs.

Have to wish you the best Mike no matter what league and of course always hope we can see you in the "Big Leaques" real soon.

Best Wishes

Does anyone know what line Mike is playing with? I've caught just a few glimpses of BlackHawk games lately, but haven't seen him on the ice yet.

Mr. Peluso:

No need to apologize. I have never communicated to you before however I would like to tell you that the fishing will always be there for you. The window of opportunity for an individual to compete at the pro level of any sport is very narrow for a select few, and never opens at all for most. Take it from a guy who wasted a lot of baseball potential, because I just didn't want to work at something that seemed so natural. What a waste. Work your tail off, and concentrate it will bring you success. The fishing will be there later. Good luck on your career, and may be I'll try to catch you guys when you come to Columbus.
