Sorry guys, but my yahoo email is really sucking.

Did you decide where you are going Sunday? I will probably just go to Chatfield or Cherry Creek since I am going to Boyd on Saturday, (as you can tell I'm planning on my boat and truck running for two days straight!)

You heading to the hills, or do you want to hit Chatfield or the Creek Sunday? I might go to the hills with you if you go. Will those trout up there hit walleye tackle?

I would like to catch some eye's but from every report I have read the last week, fishing around Denver sucks right now. I deffinately want to go somewhere on Sunday, lets just play it by ear and see what the weather will be like this weekend. I have a game on Saturday, so Sunday is my only option.

You gotta have the lure in the water to know when they're biting. Can't believe the reports or you'll be waiting all year. All the fun is in the hunt.

I wouldn't mind killing a few slimey trout anyways. Do you think they are biting up in the hills?

If we went to Antero or Wohlford, we could fish all morning for trout, then run over to Elevenmile or Williams Fork in the afternoon and try to catch some toothy critters. It is a little early for spinnerbaits and cranks, but jigs might catch a couple.

You fellas read Charlie Meyers' column today about northerns? I thought about heading down to Spinney and doing my part to rid the lake of THOSE toothy critters. Just a warm up for opening weekend in MN next week. What do you think?

I think they are having a tournament there this weekend, thats why I was thinking about hitting Elevenmile instead. They definately need to be thinned out. The Pike in Elevenmile are alot fatter and seem to be much more well fed. I think that is because a bucket Biologist dumped yellow perch in Elevenmile. Pike fishing usually doesn't really get good till the last week of may and the first two weeks of June. While the water is still cold use jigs.
