How many of you guys use magnum sized soft plastics for toothy critters and large walleyes?
When I started fishing for Pike and Walleye's I basically used two baits, large Sassy Shads and Reapers. Mostly because that was what was available at local shops. I have found that even when Pike refuse to respond to a constant parade of oversized cranks and spinnerbaits they will always notice something aggressively jigged!
Has anyone used the Magnum Squirming Shads from Bass Pro Shop. I bought a bag of them and have used them twice. I have caught small Pike each time I have used them. I caught a small snake on one last Sunday, and I am pretty sure there were no big Pike in the area I was fishing, because there was thousands of stocker trout in the area that weren't in the least bit worried. They are 7 inchs long and really look fishy in the water. Has anyone else tried these on Pike or Eye's?
